Thank you Wendall. Just last month I had a chance to go by Catawba Co. on a trip back from Va. We found Lyles Creek and I had my Picture taken on a Bridge crossing Lyles Creek. I have no way of knowing how close or far from Balthazar's land I was. I was riding with my Son-In-Law driving and it was late and I didn't have any time to do any research. We went to Hickory and then turned back No. It was just by Accident we found it. They have the picture in their digital Camera , don't know when or if I will ever Retrieve it. I surely would like to know more about the Hunsucker family. I keep wondering if possibly Balzar married into that Devault Hunsucker family. My Great-Grandfather was Named Devault Thomas Tritt. that is the only times I have heard that name Devault. Balzar's Wife's first name was Mary Magdalena. Balthazar was not married before coming down to N.C. from PA.i will be glad of any more info about location you might want to post.
