There are Johnsons in Cumblerland Co, Moore Co. where John and Conrad Goldman resided before moving to Leepers creek. Leepers creek is quite long with many side creeks. Going South you will find many PA Germans, but as far as I can tell Dillingers have the earlest North Corlina records for that exact location. The Goldman even sold their land to the Dillingers, and the Dillingers may have sold land early on to Germans from PA without the so called court records as the did in Pa.
