Another Civil War era photo has emerged of George Emmanuel Kaylor, this time holding his musket. I'm told by a Civil War buff that he can tell from the shape of the hammer that the musket is one that has been converted from flintlock to percussion. He tells me this would have to be a photo taken early in the war before they got new British Enfield rifled-Muskets or captured newer type US arms. The two early 1860's photos can be seen at http://kaylorhistory.blogspot.com
