Elise,

The James Adams who married in Lincoln Co., NC in 1829 does not appear to be part of the family I am researching.

According to family records, six Adams brothers (Andrew, Robert, John, James, George, and William) immigrated from Scotland about 1832-1834. All of these brothers were born in Campsie, Stirling Co., Scotland.

So, my Adams' group were still in Scotland when your James Adams married.

Julie
