Thanks for the quick response. This pretty well reflects what I knew about Jacob and Sally. I descended from their last child, Francis Marion Rhyne, born in Itawamba Co. Mississippi in l840. I think Jacob and Sally are probably buried in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery about four miles south and west of Fulton, MS. I set them a nice marker which I will move if I find they are buried elsewhere. I also found where Jacob Rhyne married another woman, presumably after Sally died. He married her in l843, and died that same year, I think her name was Mary Ervin. Their marriage license is on record in the courthouse in Fulton, MS. If this is all true, he was married four times. Caty Stroup Rhyne and her children went to Florida and were prominent citizens there, she never remarried so far as I know. I wish I knew why Jacob and Caty split up and all the details. Clark Rhyne
