John ROBINSON Family in Lincoln Co, NC early 1800's
Posted by: Jack Scarborough (ID *****7898) Date: December 02, 2007 at 07:50:52

Hello,
We are researching our ROBINSON family link through Martha "Patsy" ROBINSON, d/o John ROBINSON and her mother, Hollinsbury "Holly" BEAL-ROBINSON. Our Patsy married Silas S. SCARBOROUGH/SCARBROUGH 05 April 1821 in Lincoln Co, NC. I found out, through the help of another researcher, that Martha had a sister, Ann ROBINSON. Ann married Robert HAGER in Lincoln Co, NC. We have just recently learned of our link to John & Holly ROBINSON. They, & Silas SCARBOROUGH's parents, have been a brick wall for us for a long time now. I did find a copy of "Holly's" father's, John BEAL, Will online. He(or whoever wrote it)mentions her as "Hollenbury ROBERTSON", in the Will written 1810 in Lincoln CO, NC. From this document we know that Holly and John were married well before this time. Anyone having information on John ROBINSON/ROBERTSON family & parents, please, contact us. Thanks in advance for your help!

Sincerely,
Jack Ulman Scarborough II
Victoria, Texas
