DRUM line of Lincoln and Catawba Counties

Looking for information on Simon Peter DRUM who was born Dec 1825 in Lincoln County, North Carolina and died Jan 1901 in Catawba County, North Carolna. He married Rhoda Malinda BENFIELD, daughter of Henry BENFIELD and Fanny or Franny BOLICK. She was born 1826 Lincoln County and died 1914 in Catawba County.

Known children were Hosea A who married Mary Lucy HEFNER
Susan who married a PHARR
John H who married Julia POTEET
Elizabeth Jane who married Albert A MILLER
Martin
Alice

Any info on either of these people would be greatly appreciated. I am researching this family for a very sweet lady in her mid-70s.
