Martha, Your post is nearing two years old. I am reading with interest anything pertaining to years 1768 on in Tryon/Lincoln area. Attempting to put a full name to "G Wills" possibly my 5X great, that appears on NC public accts. sent to Comm. in NY for payment for goods/service during War. I'm seeing alot of research possibilities...did not know there is a Genealogical Society of Old Tryon, for instance. Carol
