Jim, I'll look through what I have and email you directly but in short, yes, several of those names are familiar. The Huskey property on Pea Hill creek either bordered the Herman property or was very close. There is at least one Herman deed in Brunswick that was witnessed by one of the Huskey boys. I'll be glad to offer whatever help I can on your family there. May take me a few days since we're so close to the holidays but I will get back to you. Meanwhile, try going to the Rootsweb site, follow the State/County resource information into Brunswick deeds online. I'm thinking the deed I referenced above is actually available online. Brunswick has excellent records for the late 1700s--some of the best in the country! Where does the name "Benskin" Herman fit into your lineage? That name stands out to me for some reason.
