I am searching for my ancestor George Hermon (later spelled Harmon)b. ca. 1750, a resident of Brunswick Co., VA from 1790 to 1800. He married Nancy Bethshears in Brunswick Co. 1799 and moved to Lincoln Co., N.C. for a few years. He moved on to Adair Co., KY by 1806. During this period he would have had several sons in his household (Isaac, John, William and possibley Slade, borne btwn. 1780-1790. In Brunswick Co., this family lived with an uncle named George Harmon--who died in Brunswick in 1787. Their farm was on Peahill Creek about three miles from the North Carolina border. Have you have anything like this in your searching?
