Dear Glenda, Actually, your response to my query is the only reply that I have received since my original post. Since I have absolutely no information about my Jane Rebecca Duckworth's parents or siblings, your information may very well be the long anticipated help to my dead end with my Jane. However, for some unknown reason, I did have Burke Co., NC (with three question (???) marks) listed as a possible birthplace for my Jane. Could you possibly give me some more information about your David Duckworth and his parents, William & Mary Duckworth, and their other children, as in names, dates and places, etc. I really appreciate your kind response to my post; and, hopefully, we could be related! Jane Rebecca Duckworth m. David Wilfong Ramsaur/Ramseur on 17 Nov 1841, most probably, in Lincoln Co., NC; and their children were: (1) Hugh Milton Ramsaur; (2) John Wilfong Ramsaur; (3) Charles Biron Ramsaur; (4) William Ramsaur; (5) Annie Ramsaur; (6) Mary "Mollie" J. Ramsaur; (7) Effie Ramsaur; (8) George R. Ramsaur; (9) Edmond F. Ramsaur; (10) Ada Elizabeth Ramsaur (my great grandmother). Do any of these names sound familiar to you in your line of the Duckworths? Please feel free to contact me at my E-mail address: <carolmco@bellsouth.net>. By the way, I am a native of Charlotte, NC, but have lived in several other southeastern states since 1951. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Regards, Carol McClellan Ohlweiler (Mrs. Thomas H Ohlweiler, Jr.)
