Hi my name is Sandra Bess,

I have been trying for sometime to trace my family. We are African American which is difficult. I have a partial 1880 census which shows a family in Lincoln NorthBrook Twp N.C. It show whom I beleive is my gggrandfather being born in 1876 his fathers name is Christa. Each time I go and try to find any information they don't exist. Do you have any information that will state that he was either on a planation since this was still in the time of slavery.

Thank you Ms. Sandra Lynn Bess
