Black-Dellinger Marriage - 1829
Posted by: Patricia Hovis (ID *****9355) Date: September 09, 2002 at 19:56:41

I know there are lot of folks out there with information on the Dellingers so please help me with one of my walls. I am a direct descendent of Vincent Black, born approximately 1807. He married Leanna (shown sometimes as Seana - I suppose because of the way L's and S's looked so much alike in handwriting then) Dellinger who was born on/around 01-02-1810. The marriage occurred approximately 06-13-1829 in Lincoln County, NC. Can anyone tell me the ancestry of my Leanna? She is buried with Vincent at the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. I'd really like to find information on her and my Dellinger ancestors. Thanks!
