Dear Ann,

I was in Lincolnton two years ago, and unfortunately, the library and the historical society were closed. Daniel McKissick was my fourth great grandfather. I didn't see anything that memorialized him. Did I miss something, or was he not memorialized? Am simply curious. It seems that as a Ramsour's Mill battle survivor and a member of the General Assembly, House of Representatives, 1783-1786,Daniel should have a memorial of some kind. Perhaps I missed it. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. Perhaps it is up to the present descendants. What do you think?

Thank you for your reply.

Sincerely,

Brownie MacKie
