Golden hardison (born approx.1870) was married to Sallie Waters. I know they had sons named Alfonzo and Clifton. I think there daughter was named Magaret.Thank you for the info on magaret Kilpatrick. I do not when I'll be able to go to Lenoir County to check the death certificate. I have 2 small kids so .......Maybe some kind soul in Lenoir County would check it for me.
Yes, we have talked before and you gave me some interesting info on a Golden Hardison you found on a census record in a orphange/home. That was Golden's (born around 1870) nephew. The Golden you found in the childrens home was the son of Durham Lloyd Hardison. Through the magic of the internet and your info I have found his descendents or rather they found me.
I believe there is a connection between the Sallie Water and the Lenoir County Waters. I can tell you that Sallie Waters Aunt was Magaret Waters, daughter of Weedigan Waters of Pinetown. Almost every Waters I find in NC has a connection to Pinetown.
Also, I would like to compliment your work on the Hardison manuscript you did, which is at East Carolina Univ. Your work and Ysobel Litchfields work on our family has made Hardison research a much easier task. James hardison of Lenoir NC must be given much credit also. I think you guys were the first to rummage through all those heavy, dusty courthouse deed books. You guys found ole Jasper and all his sons and have given all Hardison descendents a running start on our research.
Good to hear from you,
