Dear List,
My name is Tom Lightfoot and I am trying to find any info on John Lightfoot and Julius C Lightfoot, John b c1799 and Julius C. b c1802 all they have given for the place of their birth has been NC. There is a brother William Robert Lightfoot b c1810 Georgia.
They were in Alabama in the 1830's and then from 1836-37 they are in Mississippi; John in Holmes Co. and Julius in Attala Co. Robert was a Medical Dr. he lived mostly in Holmes Co.. All and some of their son's particapated in the CW(Southern States). My line is from Julius C. shortly after a Medical (Honorable) discharge in 1862 he passed and the family moved to Texas.
