Hang on until Tuesday...start of my days off from work. I work overnight so I usually am ready to crash when I get in. The marriage records in "Abstracts of The Records of Jones County, NC" 1779 - 1868 by Zae Hargett Gwynn do not begin until 1851 so that is not good. You are looking for the timeline of 1815 - 1830? There are a couple of references to a "John STILE (STILL?)".... that's the way it is listed in the index. Can you send me as much info as posiible, such as any known surnames of family they married into? Any other way of spelling...I think I have seen STILES also, but is that a different family? I also can be reached at cdval808@aol.com

Cindy
