The non-profit, historical group, the SCV is sponsoring an exhibition of the Civil War's first operational Submarine "Hunley" from Sept 16-18 at Peletier, NC, 2 miles North from Cape Carteret on highway 58's "Buck's Corner". Free for everyone and all kinds of fun for the kids. Historical demonstrations for Cavalry, Infantry, and Artillery. Formation marching, historical encampments, cannon and musket firings will be done. Lectures will be given on the history of the Hunley throughout the weekend. History coming alive!
Any reenactors that would like to come will be warmly welcomed and fed!
Also, take the family to visit Emerald Isle's beautiful beach while you are there.

Questions? Jimmy at (252)393-2057 or email me.

Thanks for your help,

Rob Huling of Pvt Bryan Jackson Buck Camp no 1769

PS This is shaping up to be a large event!
