hi, my phillips went from onslow to jones. there appears to be a cluster of phillips in jones that i do not know anything about. i have seen them in the census and a few in a cemetery near the river in pollucksville where several of my phillips are buried. these phillips are not near mine but there names were walter phillips jr. sept 1, 1919 to july 18, 1997, james w phillips may 20, 1947-april 11, 1973, lela h phillips jan 23, 1970-aug 13, 1975 and maxine phillips born nov 16, 1944. my phillips go back to three brothers in onslow, aaron, brice, and allen and i think there father maybe william but i have no proof. if you come across anything that gives more detail to the phillips in onslow county or jones please email me and i will do the same for you. that name spencer sounds familiar but i can remember where? there is a second william in onslow around 1810-1820-1830 who was a big property owner. thanks richard phillips
