There will be a Dedication of a Memorial Stone for Hannah Leatherwood Hyatt on Saturday, Sept 1, 2006 at the Maple Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
79 Maple Grove Church Road, Waynesville, NC
Hannah was the wife of Edward Gaither Hyatt and they were the first white settlers west of the Pigeon River, c 1780 in what is now Haywood County, NC
Hannah died on Jan 10, 1837.
