William Credle - 1800

The John R. Credle limb has traced its roots to Hyde County and would like more information on our heritage. If you can provide more information on our line of ancestors, please email me at wandacshaw@aol.com. I would like this information as we prepare for the Credle Family Reunion. I have recently been in touch with a descendent of Wallace Credle whose father was William Credle. Her name is Joyce. I am finding that our family names are repeating themeselves throughout the generations as well. I also met a Thomas Credle in Atlatna back in 1991 who is Caucasian. He told me that his great grandfather owned three slaves and when set free - they took on the Credle last name. Please provide whatever information that may be available. Thanks.
