I am trying to locate my g-g-g grandparents Silas and Mary Jones. They had a son Harvey Jones born 1820 in NC.There was a Silas Jones in Hyde County in 1817-1818 and 1820 census. Does anyone have info on this Silas? Harvey had a son William James Jones born 1843 in Portsmouth Va. Wm. J Jones had one son Alexander Eastwood Jones born 1885 in Pasquotank, NC. This makes me wonder if Silas Jones wife Mary was an Eastwood. I see there are Eastwoods living in Hyde County in that same time period. Can anyone help out on this Jones or Eastwood family?
