I am searching John Gaskins who married Mary Williams in
Hyde Co, NC. John was born 1734 & had Zarabable in 1750.
Zarabable was married to Nancy Ann Jones. This couple had a plantation in Mattamudkeet, NC. John came from France via England. Zarabable (caution there are two of them. Zarable was born in the 1800s) was a "pilot" of the boats that come into the harbor of Ocracoke, NC. They had a son, John, that was born in the mid 1770s. He married a Nancy Gaskill in NC. They had a son named Thaddeus while in
NC in 1797 and then to KY where they had Howard in 1808. In around 1820 they left KY. They left KY and settled in Harrisburg, Saline Co, IL That is where Wilson & Lydia had Henry. He and his wife Rachel who married John Raley.
