Hi Steve:

I have some Midget / Midyet information. My earliest known Midyet ancestor is Dorcas Midget, born about 1793, probably at or near Cape Hatteras. She married John O'Neal. The O'Neals were also from the Outer Banks. Dorcas supposedly is the daughter of George Midget and Sabra Burrus, but I have not proven this. I have been collecting miscellaneous early Midget information in hopes of sorting it out and will be happy to share with you.
