Hello,
I would like any information on any of the Wilkins/Wilkinsons/Wilkersons living in Hyde from before 1800 to about 1820. Specifically on a Rothias or a James S. Rothias is listed in the NC Index of Wills for 1817.as well as this that I came across:
149. Account of sales of the property of Rotheous WILKINS, dec'd., sold 2nd
Febry. 1818

Mentions a set of blacksmith tools sold to James S. WILKINS. Also mentions
hire of Negro Jim.

[signed] James S. WILKINS, Adm'r.

I found him in the 1810 Hyde County census as well as a Jacob, Elizabeth Wilkins living near him as well as some Baileys,Pairtree or Partree's.If anyone has any information on this group of Wilkins, please contact me at skyefaery@bellsouth.net.Thank you..sincerely, Brenda Carroll
