Shanna, I found Claude and his parents buried together in the Ahoskie Cemetery. I would bet that your Overtons tie in with mine, but I'm not sure at this point. My ggg grandfather is William Asa Overton who was in the civil war. He is believed to be buried in the Willoughby cemetery in Ahoskie. Many stones there are turned over. I know that he died before 1900 as his wife Mildred remarried. I don't know with certainty who his parents were. What are some of your other surnames?
