I need to know if William Lawrence Britt who is buried in NEvada Co., AR if the son of Lawrence and Francis Britt of Hereford CO., NC.
William Britt b. 1845 (age35) in NC is listed in the 1880 census living in Missouri Twnshp, Nevada CO., AR with wife Isabelle (age 32, NC), son Lorence Britt (age 11) John Britt (age9), Joe Britt (age8), Emma Britt (age7), Henry Britt (age 3)and Mary Britt (age 1m) all listed as "other" under the relation column and Joe Brazel (age16) listed as a Nephew. All the children were born in AR. William is listed at the familysearch website as William Lawrence b. 11-22-1845, d.03-10-1889 m. on 01-22-1867 in Hmepstead Co., AR to Isabella Paralee McKinnon. Other Britt Families on the 1880 census living in Nevada Co., in Missouri Twnshp is the family of James F. Britt and his wife Sallie living with their children and Sallie's father Joseph Oliver; and in Boughton Twnsp, Nevada Co.,the family of Henry J. Britt and his wife J.I. Britt and their children. I do not know if all these families are related
William L. Britt is buried in the Providence Cem., in Nevada CO., AR.There is not record of Isabella 's burial.
In the 1860 census for Redland Twnsp, Hempstead CO., AR, there is a Lawrence Britt wife Francis and children Joseph, Mary, William,I.A. and Martha. I want to know if this William is the William L Britt in the 1880 census listed above. Hempstead Co. in a neighboring county to Nevada CO., AR
In the 1850 Census for the Northern District, Hereford Co., NC there is a Lawrence Britt listed with his wife Francis and children Lawrence, Francis, Thomas,John, Joseph,Mary, William, Virginia. Is this the same family in Hempstead Co in the 1860 census
All of the ages and place of birth of the children seem to follow that these are the same families, except for a difference of William's age on the 1860 Census which is incorrect if this is the same William listed at the family search website and the cemetery records in Neveda Co., AR.
Any help in connecting these families would be appreciated.
