Here is a post from Skip that I found the other day. He is looking up some info on Jackson B. hare for me. He may be able to help you.

so many times in Judge Winborne's history. John Hare migrated to DeSoto Co.
Ms. during the 1830-late 1840 period. He had two sons who migrated to Houston,
Texas just before the Civil War while he returned to Hertford to live in the
Lemuel Jernigan household. The two sons were Othello Hare and my wife's 3g
grandfather Capt. Thomas J. Hare were:”
1. Othello Hare Co D, 2nd Arkansas Cavalry
2. Capt.Thomas J. Hare, Co. H, 26th Texas Cavalry, Debray's Mounted Rifles
