Jean, just read note on message board.( Windsor County,VT Genealogy Forum )This is what I have don't know if it will work for you..Edmund King b. 1819 in Pmfret,Windsor,VT. In 1843 moved to Whitewater,WI. Married Deborah Loomer in 1845. Parents:SOLOMON KING b.30 Apr.1772 in MA and SUSANNAH LEWIS. Solomon"s parents believed to be Thomas King b.29 July 1717-Dedham,MA-d.27 Jan 1804,VT)& Polly Butler. Thomas is said to have fought with the Green Mooountain Boys. Thomas' parents believed to be Solomon King & Patience Foster.(birth date of Thomas King is also said to be 29,July 1747-MA. d. 27 Jan 1804 VT.- American Revolution Forum-Re:Capt Thomas King/Middlebury VT) I'm trying to verify all this info myself.
