Was your mary Hefley widowed by any chance and remarried?

I am trying to find a Mary "Hostley" "Hasley" who was a widow and was the late in life second wife of Rev. War soldier Burch Allison of Burke co. NC. She was originally a Ryan. I do not know her husbands first name or her children if any from her first marriage. I have thought that she might have been related to the Hannah "Hasley" who lived only a couple of houses away on the 1830 Burke Co. NC census and was married to Moses Parton. Burch Allison and Mary Ryan "Hostley" had a daughter Anna Allison/Ellison who married John Parton. They were on the 1830 Burke Co. NC census, 1850 Greene Co. TN, 1860 Franklin Co. TN, and early 1870s to Nodaway Co. MO.

I have always thought that "Hostley" and "Halsey" were variations of some other name. The family is connected to "Halseys" in MO. A caption that accompanies a picture of the house that they lived in at Nodaway Co. MO calls it the Old Halsa house. That may be a clue or a coincidence.

Any help will be appreciated.
