Dear Alta, I was given your address by Lavenia Cummings a couple of years ago. Then I saw your query for Haywood Co., NC. I did a little research on the Crawford/Farmer. Do you have the date of death & place of death of John D. Hays? I think H. Caroline Miller died abt. 1866 in Marshall Co., TN. I also did not know her lst name was Hannah.
