Gary, I have a Marcus Joseph Hill b. Sept 1866 married Ruth Laura Liner b. Apr. 1867, on Feb. 12, 1891 in Haywood County, NC.

Known children:
Clarence Hill b. December 1892
Bennie Hill b. April 1896
Flora Hill b. December 1898

The above information is from the 1900 Census for Haywood County, NC.

Ruth Laura Liner is the daughter of Leander and Nancy Nelson Liner. The name "Ruth Laura" is listed on the 1870 Haywood Census under Leander and Nancy Liner.

Is Benjamin F. Hill the father of Marcus?
Is David Hill the father of Benjamin?
Is "Bennie" Hill, son of Marcus and Laura your grandfather?
