Hi, I am researching Nichols of Haywood, NC also. I don't know very much about the Nichols line but maybe one of the few names I do have will ring a bell with you. I'm looking for someone that has information on
John P. Nichols b.1852 and d.1904. He was married to Margaret Rhinehart and they had 9
children. Their names were Rufuss, Nannie, Charles, Selma, John Walter, Isaac, Etta, William(Willie), and my grandfather Homer.
All I know about them is that my grandfather Homer and all his brothers and sisters were born in Haywood County before the entire family moved to Spartanburg, SC where they all lived and died.
I'm sorry I don't have and info on Sara Jane
Nichols but thought I'd check and see if you have any info on any of these people. Do you know the names of any siblings Sara may have had?
