Marie,
I was told about 1993 when I first started doing research on my Davis line, by a Bill Davis who was a descendant of Aaron Davis born in the late 1700 era that ,"Aaron Davis came here abt 1790's alone except for a 16 year old boy who may have been his Grandson. They thought he went there from Ga. This Bill Davis lived on the Highway 209 toward maggie Valley at that time.
