I may have something for you. In the book "Cemeteries & Family Graveyards in Haywood County NC" by George A. Miller, Jr., there are the following listings: Andy Hightower 2 July 1863 - 22 Sep 1941 and Adeline Hightower Wife of Andy Hightower 16 Nov 1861 - 26 Mar 1951. They are buried in the Gwyn Cemetery which is located in the Cruso section of Haywood County.

Since both of these people died after 1913 when death certificates were required to be recorded, you might check their death certificates to see if their parents were identified. This is a possibility, but not a certainty. I have seen several death certificates in which the parents were either not identified, or were incorrectly identified.

Another possibility is "The Annals of Haywood County" by W. C. Allen. He covers many of the prominent families of Haywood County and the Rogers were and are a prominent family. I don't have time to check it now, but if you don't have access to it, let me know and I will look it up later.
