SALUDA, SC
Rufus Clarence Frady, 92, of Route 5, Old Cherokee Trail, Saluda, SC, died Monday, April 3, 2000, at his home.
A native of Waynesville, NC, he was a son of the late George Washington and Maggie Mae Hogan Frady. He was a farmer and a member of Barberville Baptist Church in Waynesville, NC.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie Dena Huffman Frady.
Surviving are three sons, Ed Frady of Columbia, SC, Bill Frady of Greenville, SC, and Harry Frady of Saluda, SC: five daughters, Maggie Pitts and Marian Frady, both of Joanna, SC, Judy Robinson and Pat Frady, both of Waynesville, NC, and Glenda Frady of Saluda, SC; one brother, Jack Frady of Little Canada, NC: a sister, Georgia Mae Boyden of Salem, NJ; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, at dean's Chapel Pentacostal Holiness Church in Saluda, SC. Burial was in Pine Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Clinton, SC.
