While researching in Johnston County on my family tree, I found out that a few of my ancestors may have come from Harnett County. I am looking for:
Minnie Pearl Stewart Holland- she had red hair and a twin with black hair- this was probably in the 1898 maybe. The twin's descendents are Edwards.
Isaac Thomas Pope - 1895 one fourth Cherokee around same time frame. Father was E. Daniel B. Pope possibly married Elizabeth?
Andrew J. Pittman married Margaret E. Sullivan Pittman- early 1870's.
James Godwin and Sarah(Sally) Godwin early 1800's.
Thomas Atkinson and Elizabeth(Bettie)Godwin Atkinson in the 1820's-1870's.
