I am looking for records or info on Joseph and Mary Unknown Clark, They were found in the 1850 Lee VA Census with their children. Specifically I am looking for info on John R. Clark who married Eliza J. D. (Clark) and had two sons Emanuel and William both with the middle initial R. John's wife died and he married my Great Grandfathers sister Jane Salyer Carty in December of 1864 in Scott Co. VA, Jane died in Johnson Co. KY in 1874. Emanuel & William go on to marry Colvin women in KY and can be traced into the 1900's but I am unable to find John R. and the children he had with Jane after the 1870 Johnson , Scott, VA Census. Children of Joseph and Mary Clark include Martha, Delilah, Levi D., and William, and of course John R. I was told that Joseph appears in the 1830 and 1840 Census in Guilford Co. NC but I have not saw the census info as of yet. Do you have any of these names in your tree?
