Can you give some date for the time of James and Jane Hamilton {Hursha} Kelsay? If I follow your statement correctly, they lived in Green County, NC, when they had a son on 2/29/1796. Why did you put {Hursha} in bracketts? Was this a surname of her possible first husband, or what?

I am working on the Hamiltons in Old Dobbs/ Lenoir/ Greene/ and Johnston counties in early records.
