Dear Martha,

Thanks for your response. My data concurs with yours. I found in the 1906 Industrial Issue of the Kinston Free Press, in the discussion of D. W. Hamilton (who married my great aunt Ada Speight)that B. P.Speight (this is Blaney Edward Pell Speight) married May Eliza (sometimes called Mollie)who was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Speight (nee Harrell). This tells me that Blaney Edward Pell Speight married a Speight. This is confirmed in the Contentnea Neck Township,Lenoir County marriage records, where it shows that B. P. Speight Married May Eliza Speight. It also records that William Speight married Elizabeth Harrell. It is these two, William Speight and Elizabeth Harrell, that I am seeking info on. I am guessing that they were of about the same generation of Blaney Speight who was the father of Blaney Edward Pell
Speight. Any Help?????

Thanks,

Jim Speight
