Probated Feby. 10, 1761

1. To son Minus, the upper part of my land, 320 acres.

2. To son John the other part of my land where my plantation now is.

3. Unto my loving wife Jane Griggs and equal share of my personal Estate with all my daughters (whose names were not given).

Executors: Jane Griggs & Jonathan White.
Witnesses: Andrew Hampton & Ephraim Hampton; Wm. Berry.

Records of Granville Co. N.C. 1760-62, p. 11.

Inventory Return to court Aug. 11, 1761-among other items: one small still, xx four pair of sleeve buttons, 3 papers of needles, a parcel of brass thimbles, two sets of niting needles, x four old books. Id. p.40.

Return of sale, same date; amount pounds 51.12.4. Id.p. 41.
