I am desperate I am trying to find out what the maiden name was of the Sarah who married William Caviness,about 1787( guess work based on first child of the couple being born 11/17/1788) in the Granville area.William was the son of Matthew and Ann? Caviness who lived in Granville Co near the Va line.Any Caviness connections to any family ? I have found some deeds etc witnessed by Willie Searcy ,and a connection seems to exist to the Duncan family. any help is appreciated
