I can't believe how I botched that post up. It should have read:
Betsey Taylor was born in Gates Co., NC, around 1819. She married Donald McKee and they had a daughter, Catherine, who was born in 1842 in Gates Co., NC. Catherine married Alfred Curl in 1858 and they had two daughters, Harriet Ann and Pleasant (Pleasant died at 6 months of age). Alfred died in 1863 and Catherine married James Henry Tuttle in 1866 in Perquimans Co., NC. They had a total of 11 children, 6 of which died young, and lived in Perquimans Co and then Pasquotank Co, NC.
I'm looking for information on the McKee (possibly McKey?) and Taylor families who lived in Gates Co., NC in the early 1800s.
