The James B. Baker listed with Marmaduke Baker in the 1850 plus Gates censuses...Was his middle name Britton or Burgess? And, can anyone help me identify another Marmaduke Baker, other than the one who died in 1801. ANd, did the Marmaduke Baker who died in 1801, the son of William Baker and Judith Norfleet, have children? He was old enough to have children, even if he was about to leave to go to a university when he died.
A James Britton Baker of Charlton Co Georgia has been associated with the father Marmaduke Norfleet Baker and we can't find the father in a census.
