Thanks for your information.

I have seen the 1880 census record for a John Brady in Gatesville with the age about right.

Jack C. Brady's grave marker/stone in St. John's Church cemetery at Chuckatuck, VA says "Jack C. Brady." Stone also states: Born 4-8-1871, Died 3-13-1942. So I am a bit suspicous of the record for John. But the age is about right.

I have no firm proof that he was from Gatesville other than family hearsay. Only thing that is fact is the grave marker information at Chuckatuck, VA. I will continue to look.
