I am seeking information about marriages between the RATLIFF and HOLT families in the late 1700s in Franklin County.
I know there was a Jeremiah RATLIFF who had a sister who married a James HOLT. In 1785 a Charles HOLT married a woman named Martha in Franklin County. In Martha's Revolutionary Widow's Pension application a John RATLIFF gave testimony and said Charles & Martha were his uncle and aunt. I am wondering if Martha was also a RATLIFF and a sister to Jeremiah.
Charles HOLT died in 1847 in Blount County, Alabama and Martha died there in 1854.
