Note to Board Moderators:

The following post applies to all of the counties of Eastern North Carolina so please allow it to be posted as it directly relates to the family histories of the area.  It will be posted over the next few days to all the counties that are approximately east of I-95 as there are many inter-connections between the families of the region.

Thank you and Best Regards, David French

Hi All,

We will be hosting the Eastern North Carolina Family History Fair at the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center on Saturday, June 4th, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. We are excited to be partnering with other area family history organizations to present eight family history research class choices as well as partnering with Tryon Palace to present the fun-filled and educational "Blast Into The Past ! - Time Travel Into History" Kids' Event.

We thank our media sponsors: Our State Magazine, CTV 10, TACC 9 TV, Sun Journal Newspaper, Crystal Coast Parent Magazine, and Eastern Carolina Parent Magazine for working with us to promote the ENC Family History Fair.

Please see the links below for more information.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, June 4th, as we gather to remember, honor, celebrate, and learn more about our family heritages from the early times to the present.

Please let all of your friends and family know about the event.

Everyone is welcome!

All the Best,

David French
