i have a letter written by my g.g.grandmother elizabeth e.lewis to her daughter martha lewis buie, dated may 17,1875. elizabeth's maiden name was byrd and her first husband was herman bell, she had 4 bell children.
my question is i believe she might be buried in duplin because her son alderman lewis lived in the area. her second husband was james m.lewis. this letter speaks of the daniel's, bell's southerland, and hargrove. if anyone has any info. please contact me.
