Hello, and thanks for the response. Your observation about the McGlohon girls makes sense. I had not untangled the relationships yet.

Along the way I did discover that William R's father was Henry and mother was Lydia, although I don't have a last name for her. I also was not aware that she was the second wife, so that will give me another lead when I get back to this.
I have been working on another section of my husband's ancestral tree.

William R was my husband's great great grandfather. His mother was a Fountain (Alice Fountain, daughter of Charles, granddaughter of Aiden Asbury Fountain. It is likely that the Fountain you met was one of his cousins, as a couple of them have been interested in genealogy.
