William R. parents were Henry Fountain Sr. and I think (no proof of this) his second wife Lydia. They had William R., Henry, and Mary. Henry is my line.

How about you? I don't know anything about William R's(Riley, I believe) family except I ran into a Fountain male who descended from one of William sons (Asbury A.) about 20 years ago in Louisville Ga. where I was doing some research.

It is correct that William married in 1839. In fact, Henry and an older brother (or cousin) married into the same family. Ivy Fountain married Susannah McGlohon (20 years his senior who was Adam McGlohon's widow), Henry married Susannah McLawhorn(McGlohon) and William R. married Keziah Lanier but her maiden name was McGlouhon.

I think we have two daughters and a mother who all married Fountain boys.
